Belleville’s Economic Development team needed more than a new look. They needed a way to reconnect with the public, investors, and business community with clarity and purpose. Internally, the team had strong vision and expertise. But externally, there was no unified voice, no clear messaging, and no brand system to reflect their values or mission. The work they were doing was meaningful, but the story wasn’t being told. The challenge was to create a brand that captured the spirit of Belleville’s growth, innovation, and commitment to community.

We led the development of brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity. The “IQ” in BIQ stands for Investment Quotient, representing smart, future-focused growth. The brand voice was built to speak clearly to businesses, residents, and visitors. We developed a full brand guide including audience insights, brand pillars, key messaging, coordinated core media assets via our sister company Mind Fusion Visuals and identity principles. The final result is a confident, human brand system that gives the team tools to tell their story, attract investment, and build lasting community pride.
