1. Statement of Commitment
AMP Visual Media recognizes that a safe workplace is fundamental to operational excellence and employee wellbeing. We are committed to preventing workplace injuries and illnesses through proactive hazard identification, training, and continuous improvement of our health and safety practices.
Health and safety is a shared responsibility. All individuals working with or on behalf of AMP Visual Media are expected to uphold the standards outlined in this policy.
2. Employer
Responsibilities
AMP Visual Media, as the employer, will:
Provide and maintain a safe work environment.
Ensure equipment, tools, and workspaces are safe and properly maintained.
Provide information, instruction, and supervision to protect worker health and safety.
Ensure compliance with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Review this policy annually and revise as required.
3. Health & Safety
Representative
As required under Ontario legislation for small workplaces, the Owner of AMP Visual Media serves as the designated Health & Safety Representative.
The representative is responsible for:
Promoting workplace health and safety awareness.
Identifying and documenting workplace hazards.
Participating in incident investigations.
Recommending corrective measures where appropriate.
4. Worker
Responsibilities
All workers must:
Work in compliance with the OHSA and company procedures.
Follow established safe work practices.
Use required protective equipment where applicable.
Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or injuries immediately.
Participate in required health and safety training.
5. Hazard
Identification &
Reporting
AMP Visual Media encourages open communication regarding workplace safety.
Workers must promptly report:
Unsafe conditions
Equipment concerns
Near-miss incidents
Workplace injuries or illnesses
All reported concerns will be reviewed and addressed in a timely manner.
AMP creates original work, and we credit contributors appropriately.
– All written content is human-authored, edited, or reviewed by AMP staff
– We cite external statistics, research, or quotes when used
– Images, assets, and templates follow proper licensing
– Clients own final deliverables per their contracts
If there’s ever a question of attribution, we resolve it directly and promptly.
7. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed at least annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legislation, workplace conditions, or company operations.
