Designing a Brand Identity for a Nonprofit Supporting Wellness and Community Through Beekeeping

2. Naming & Messaging Framework
While the name “BeeStrong” already carried metaphorical strength, we refined messaging to ensure it resonated across all audiences — mentors, mentees, donors, and volunteers. The language prioritized empathy, impact, and shared purpose.
3. Visual Identity System
The visual system was designed to feel:
Grounded and organic
Accessible and welcoming
Symbolic of community and growth
This included:
Logo lockups that worked for both digital and print
A colour palette that feels vibrant yet warm
Typography that supports readability and emotional tone
Supporting graphic elements inspired by hive imagery and connection
4. Brand Implementation Framework
Rather than a one-off logo, the identity was built as a system. It was designed to scale across:
